Taylor Transue Woods Charter School ( map and directions) Mon - Fri, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM 07/20/26 (1 week)
This is a camp where we have five whole days to explore how scientists solve mysteries around the Triangle! We will see several ways that scientists use fossils to learn about the past and present! We will visit animal/ agricultural scientists in Raleigh and sample their famous ice cream. We will have a visit from a real geologist and then find and identify fossils to take home. Campers will have their own geologists tools to take home and explore throughout the summer in their own backyards. We hope to learn about computer science and engineering with robotics and then make our own solar powered robot! This camp will be a lot of fun to learn about many different kinds of scientists working around the Triangle, and then make our own discoveries. There will be a lot of take home items to share with families throughout the week!
